Disney World is one of my favorite places to visit on Earth, and today I thought that before I start blogging all about Disney and their parks, I should give a little intro as to why I love them so much! Because of my congenital heart defects, when I was three years old I became a Make-A-Wish Kid and wished to climb the Eiffel Tower. My wish was granted in 2009 when I was flown to Disney World for a week and got to stay at Give Kids the World. I saw the replica Eiffel Tower in Epcot, rode the Barnstormer in Magic Kingdom roughly eighteen times, and overall just had a magical week. This trip was definitely when my love of Disney began; I just have so many amazing memories from the parks with my family. Since that Make-A-Wish trip, I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris, adding up to around thirteen individual trips to the Disney parks. And every single one of those vacations has been awesome beyond words. First, Disney has always been AMAZING with food allergies! Every time, they are more than willing to help and make accommodations for us, both inside and outside the restaurants. And second, it’s DISNEY, and that’s the best reason I have!! Walt himself said, “Disneyland will never be completed, as long as there is imagination left in the world.” The Disney parks have evolved with the times, are always innovating and being added on to, but they have never lost the sense of wonder and hope that made the Disney company so successful in the first place. The parks have a huge, awesome community following them, fascinating histories and quirks like nowhere else, and that certain magic that just cannot be put into words. My family has made so many incredible memories at Disney World, and it will always hold a very, very special place in my heart. Are you a diehard Disney nerd, or just a casual fan? Have you ever visited a Disney park? Let me know your Disney story in the comments! Previous Post: Maggiano's Review
